Good fairy tales captivate us all, both young and old. Brunetta Amidei’s tale is truly a magical story.
The author, with her extraordinary descriptive language, immerses us in the enchanted world of the little "Auburn Wood," tragically destined to be destroyed as it is assaulted by the Dark Forest who creeps forward with its insidious roots to suffocate all forms of life. Amidei brings us into perfect harmony with the natural world, as we listen to the conversations between flowers and the many animals in the wood who try to save their environment and the great old Oak -
Brunetta Amidei was born in the Tuscan city of Volterra where she lives and works. She received her undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Florence, where she also received her Teacher’s Certification in Religious Sciences.
